Ans: Sunderlal Bahuguna ws an Indian born on 9^th  januray,1927 in  a small village named MARORA ,on the banks of the BHAGIRATHI river in Tehri GARHWAL .He started the Chipko movement in India.

Ans: Chipko in hindi means to cling to or to hug.
